X Factor judge Dannii Minogue was said to be very upset after she was ordered to swap seats with Louis Walsh, before Saturday night’s show.

Dannii was ordered to move to the end of the panel, moving Louis beside Cheryl and therefore closer to Simon Cowell.

A source told The Daily Mail: “The producers like the banter between Simon and Louis and wanted to move Louis up the panel. We are constantly trying to make the show fresh and new and trying out new ideas, but it was very upsetting for Dannii. After the show, she left the studios very quickly.”

During an ad break on Saturday night Dannii tweeted: “Love the pantomime of change of seats?”

She later joked: “I think I am sitting outside with the fans tomorrow, that would be fun!”
