The more stories I hear about Dannii Minogue, the more I admire the woman. Last week Simon Cowell shunted her to the end of the judging panel and moved Louis Walsh up beside Cheryl Cole but Dannii was not one bit happy with the move.

So just ten minutes before Saturday night’s show, Dannii is said to have informed Simon and the X Factor bosses that she would be taking back her old seat. The staff were then forced to change the script and rehearsed camera angles to facilitate her move.

“She only told them about 10 minutes before she was due to go on air – just like they didn’t give her any notice,” a source told The Mirror.

“She is not afraid of Simon Cowell and was prepared to stand up for herself after having some time to think it over. It caused a real headache because the camera angles are all rehearsed so they had to be altered at the last minute and the script had to be changed too, as the judges were supposed to give their comments in a certain order. But Dannii was absolutely adamant she was going to sit in her old seat as she felt like she had been pushed out into the cold by sitting at the end.”
