Danyl Johnson has backed Olly Murs to win next week’s X Factor final.

Danyl was eliminated from the show last night, but has put his support behind his fellow over 25 competitor, Olly Murs.

In an interview on ITV’s This Morning Danyl said: “I am looking forward to going back to The X Factor next week to give Olly a massive hug for winning.

“He is my Over 25 boy!.”

Johnson also revealed that he had known Olly would make it to the final, as soon as he saw him perform at bootcamp.

He said: “At Boot Camp I said to him, `you are going to be in the last three’.

“That’s why he was so upset after the show because he couldn’t believe it, but I can.

“But I still think that Stacey is the dark horse and Joe is up there, every single performance he has given has been amazing.”
