X Factor: Danyl Johnson stands up to Simon Cowell
X Factor’s Danyl Johnson obviously doesn’t mind making powerful enemies and reports suggest that he has managed to p*ss off Simon Cowell again.
The contestants have reportedly been complaining about having learning two songs and two dance routines this week, so Dan offered to go and speak to Simon Cowell on their behalf.
An insider told The Mirror: “Their workload seems to have tripled.
“They’re feeling stressed because it’s the first time they’ve done two solo songs. They were complaining they were never going to be ready. Someone suggested talking to Simon. Danyl, pictured, seemed to be the ringleader. He asked Simon for a meeting about their concerns.”
Unsurprisingly Simon didn’t care what Danyl thought. The insider added:
“It didn’t do much good. They’re still doing two songs. He wasn’t that impressed to be honest. He thinks they should be grateful for the opportunity.”
In fairness, Unreality TV can see where Simon is coming from. It’s not like he’s making them work down the mines now is it?

if he wants to be a singer then why the hell is he moaning he is lucky to be there anyone else with that oppurtunity would be grateful to sing two songs

U just “cut” pieces from papers and some of that “nice, talented” judge Cheryl says and embrace such ideas. And by the way, Joe is boring, he can`t sing without that shaking in his voice (because without that he can`t go to high notes and also can`t come down from a higher note). I don`t say Joe is not good, but is good if U are a grandma and like that “sacrified lamb” look. Danyl is, by far, the best!And you are just jealous…

Jealous! Wow! Now why should I be jealous? I humbly champion one of this country’s most extraordinarily unique and gifted singers! No I’m not jealous! I exalt his exquisite and masterly skills of voice and sound in his vocal technique! No I’m not jealous! I sing songs of praise to each of his extraordinary and exceptional performances! No I’m not jealous! I recognise his true talent and gifted genius! No I’m not jealous! I listen to his voice of song in all of it’s harmonious and melodious rhythm of blissful sound! No I’m not jealous! I watch in wonderment at his graceful presence in his performance of his perfect song! No I’m not jealous! I am happy! I am happy to be associated with one of the most accomplished singers within our midst, his name is Joseph McElderry and it’s a name you will have to get use to. This boy, turning to man, is going to turn this country upside down with his music and sound. And, Oh! by the way, I thought Danyl did himself proud to night, really enjoyed his performances!
Simon made a very big mistake with this guy right from the beginning. Danyl is a good singer and performer, but, seems to have a lot of unresolved issues which even permeate into his performances and has been obvious right from the start. It is a talent competition, to find a unique and gifted singer, allowing them to progress each week with the encouragement of the judges and the viewing audiences. Danyl seems to have stepped onto the stage, thinking or believing he was the winner right from the start, maybe! Simon is at fault here! I don’t really know? But, it was a bad move! Danyl and Joe are the two most strongest contestants in this series, both offering a good example of their skills. There are a number of points to measure by when selecting a possible winner. Danyl and Joe, each have them, but alas! not in equal measures! For me it has to be Joe, he is gifted,talented, graceful and very likable, honest and very hard working, just getting on with the job at hand. These are the ingredients necessary to pursue a hard working career in the music business.
Oh god man up Danyl! Honestly, week in week out Jedward worked incredibly hard on complicated dance routines because it took them longer to pick up andcause theirs were always more complex, they never whined once. Just get on with it your lucky to still be in and have this oppertunity. Don’t like it, just leave.

I don’t know whether I believe the above happened or not but, if it had, i really do not know why this batch of contestants feel the need to complain. Two songs towards the end of the competition when there have been fewer contestants has always been a norm. Back from when we had Leona in the comp (the first year i watched it every week) it was normal to have two songs in the latter weeks and then they would have three in the finals. I really do not know why they feel the need to complain…if they actually win and go on to do major tours etc they will be doing ten songs plus per night so they might as well get used to it.
I love how it says that all the contestants were finding it hard, yet it’s Danyl that get the rap.
Well if its all a bit to much the contestants could always drop out.
Hold on a minute…the report says ALL THE CONTESTANTS were moaning and Danyl merely acting as the spokesperson on everyone’s behalf. At least he’s got the balls to stick it up to Simon unlike the others!

Well! I can assure right now! Joe wasn’t complaining, it’s not in his nature! He just wants to get on with what he has to do and win the competition.

Danyl has had a problem for the last couple of weeks about his song choices so it was up to him to sort it out with Simon. He can’t make it out that ALL the contestants are unhappy, because he likes to think he is something else. It is a competition whereby they have to go by the rules, if you are not happy then WALK AWAY.
