X Factor contestant Eoghan Quigg will be thrilled to have tonight gotten through to this years final. Not only does he stand a really good chance of winning the show, but this week he gets to go home and do a special performance at the Guildhall Square in Derry.

Speaking to the Belfast Telegraph last week, Eoghan said he was “all buzz” about the prospect of coming home.

“If I get through on the night I am coming home to Ireland and on Monday I’m going into Guildhall Square and I can’t wait to be singing there. The support from back home has been immense and I wouldn’t be here only for the support people have given me.

”I’m just really looking forward to seeing my family and my mates and everybody at school and can’t wait to come home and sing for everybody if I stay in the competition.”
