For the final shows of this year’s X Factor series, Cheryl Cole and Dannii Minogue pulled out all the fashion stops.

Yes we know it is supposed to be about the singing, but we have to admit that we looked forward to seeing Dannii and Cheryl’s fab dresses each week, almost as much as we did to the vocal performances.

For us, Dannii Minogue has been the definite style winner this year. While she opted for classic styles, Cheryl Cole often went for the daring choice. Sometimes it worked, often it didn’t (remember that David Koma dress!)

On Saturday night’s show Cheryl enjoyed a rare victory with her black and white “Winter Rhapsody” mermaid gown by Lebanese couturier Zuhair Murad. She may not have been able to walk in it, but at least she looked good.

Dannii Minogue opted to keep it simple in her asymmetrical grey Osman Yousefzada gown with gorgeous gold shoes. We also LOVED her hairstyle on Saturday night, but that’s been a theme this year for us. She certainly rocks the bob!
