In a series of X Factor that has been dominated by Dannii Minogue’s new and daring hair styles, it was nice to see Cheryl Cole sporting a different look last night.

Cheryl emerged onto stage in a stunning one shouldered gown, with shoulder length tousled hair. A big departure from her long, flowing (and fake) locks of days gone by.

It’s probably no coincidence that Cheryl ditched her £700 hair extensions for a shorter cut just days after she was accused of misleading fans in L’Oreal adverts. However we don’t really care about the reason behind the style, we just love the new look!
