Joe McElderry took to The X Factor stage for his final time tonight and gave us his rendition of the X Factor’s winners song.

Not surprisingly it was immediately obvious that ‘The Climb’ was chosen by Mr Cowell with Joe in mind. He made a much better job of it than Olly and seemed much more comfortable with the track vocally.

Although it’s a fairly crap song and a very bad choice (in our opinion) by Simon, Joe made the best of it and gave it his all. Round two definitely went to Mr McElderry but was it enough to help him win the show? In a few minutes we’ll all find out!
