BBC bosses are upset with The X Factor again, this time because of the scheduling of their final show.

The final X Factor result show will air on Sunday the 13th of December and will clash with the BBC’s Sports Personality Of The Year awards.

A BBC source told the Daily Star: “This is no accident. Our Sports Personality of the Year show has been running for over 50 years, the last 20 of which it has gone out in a similar Sunday pre-Christmas slot.

“After all the fuss about Strictly we cannot believe this is accidental. ITV is being greedy.”

An ITV spokesman said: “It has always been our intention that The X Factor live shows would run on Saturdays and Sundays.”
