Rikki lives on his own in Glasgow and is desperate for 2009 to be ‘his’ year on The X Factor. Rikki has previously auditioned in series 1, 2 and 5. In series 5 he reached Bootcamp stage but was devastated to be culled at final 50 stage. He has now picked himself back up and is determined to do well in the competition.

The past year he has been singing anywhere he can to gain as much experience as possible, clubs, old people’s homes etc

He is desperate to win, be an established singer and perform at Wembley.

He didn’t tell his family he was originally auditioning this year because he’s had so many disappointments that he didn’t want to raise their hopes.

He wants to prove to the judges that they made a mistake letting him go last year.
