John is still at school with his brother and they live with their parents in Dublin. The earliest memory he has of singing is joining the school choir when he was 11 years old.
When he was 14 years old he entered a school talent competition and competed against Edward, he came 3rd and Edward came 1st.
John likes to sing everywhere, bus, shops, streets. The boys once bumped into the Pussycat Dolls in a Dublin hotel bar and they sang to them – the girls invited them to a show after party but sadly they were too young to go.
Their ultimate dream is to entertain and keep audiences happy.

How did these two jokers get through to the live finals they are crap!!!
They have no talent, cannnot sing in tune, they cannot dance and are just irritating to the extreme.
The fact Louis put them through is a absolute disgrace…They now believe their own hype. Walsh you have created a monster.
Only voting them out the first week can save us….

nnennaa and Jo, you have obviously gained access to a
computer in your respective mental institutions. Keep taking
the pills and you will start to see things as normal people.
These twins are obviously attracting the attention of deluded
and confused individuals, who have no sense of musical
rythem or co-ordination. If you think that two identical
pratts gracing your TV screens is entertainment, then i
suggest you make an appointment very quickly with your
local mental health department. I only hope that they are
booted off on the first week!
Look, im not here to fight by all means
and before anyone tries to even start on me
i am NOT a huge fans of John and Edward, but in all honesty
why are they getting so much negetivity? OK. So if they can’t sing
how is this YOUR problem? Thats right, its not you’re making it your problem
so you can have a large brag about it, and don’t you dare try and back yourself
up because if you HATE them so much why are you reading about them? “Because we want to
read about how pathetic they are” don’t be a seven year old. You’re reading it simply
so you can just hate hate hate, atleast they’re trying to forfill, live out their dream.
Ofcourse they’re not going to win (if the public is basing it on SINGING) because everyone
even them know full well they can’t sing. I can’t wait till its over, to see what you (the people
who obviously don’t have a life of their own so they have to interfere with others) talk about when its over.
I’m on here because im bored. Atleast i admit it; atleast im not on here just to put up hate crap. Talk
it amongst yourself, this isn’t making you popular.
