The girls all met at a girl group audition 12 months ago when they were chosen to be in a 7 piece band – nothing ever came of this but the four of them remained friends and decided to form their own girl group.

They called themselves Kandy Rain as ‘with candy as much as you love it, you know it’s not good for you and we’re going to rain on everyone’s parade’

They saw JLS last year and thought ‘let’s do it for the girls’

AZI JEGBEFUME, 25

Azi lives just outside of London with her best friend. All her family are from Ireland, where she was born.

COCO LLOYD, 22

OCCUPATION: Studying Law

CoCo lives on her own in central London and is studying p/t for a law degree

KHATEREH DOVANI, 24

LOCATION: London

OCCUPATION: Beauty Salon Worker

Khatereh also lives in central London and works in a beauty salon that is owned by her mum

CHEMMANE APPLEWHITE, 26

LOCATION: London

OCCUPATION: Dance Teacher

Chemmane lives with her family in Basingstoke. She teaches kids to dance (age 7-18 yrs old).
