X Factor: Gamu Nhengu ‘I haven’t heard from Simon Cowell or Cheryl Cole’

X Factor reject Gamu Nhengu has claimed that she hasn’t heard from Simon Cowell or Cheryl Cole since she failed to make the final 12.

The 18 year old was dropped from the show’s lineup at judges houses and earlier this week immigration officials refused to approve the family’s latest visa application, because her mum Nokutula claimed state benefits which she was technically not entitled to.

In an interview with The News Of The World, Gamu admitted that despite the furore surrounding her life this week, she hasn’t heard from any of the X Factor team. She said:

“I have had no calls from Cheryl or from Simon. I haven’t spoken to any of the big producers either.

“But I hear that Simon’s lawyers are trying to help.”

Nhengu also insisted that Cowell and co knew about her visa issues, before judges houses was even filmed.

Gamu explained: “The X Factor knew because I had to send them copies of my passport for Judges’ Houses. They said, ‘Gamu your passport’s expiring. What’s going to happen? When do you think it’s going to be through?’ At that point we thought it might take three weeks.

“They knew absolutely everything, the whole process.”

Her mum Noku added: “I was in constant contact with X Factor about the visa. They knew at every stage. There was nothing hidden.”

Feeling guilty about her family’s plight, the despairing teenager wept:

“If I hadn’t been on the show everything would be fine.”

The X Factor is based on singing ability; Cheryl stated that Gamu did not have the “star” quality she was looking for. The mistakes Cher Lloyd and Kate Waissel made were musical shipwrecks, lacked professionalism and were a universe away from star quality, but yet again were chosen, why? Cheryl is now blaming the producers that they knew and that they made the decision due to Gamu’s visa issues and in other news articles Cheryl claims it was her own choice?
Racism is not obsolete by a long shot and those that say “why are people saying Cheryl is racist and the race card has come up again”, “she was married to trophy husband Ashley Cole and she’s not racist”; lets not forget what her and Cheryl Tweedy screamed racial abuse after they beat up a toilet attendant, proven in court.

So being racist or not, will not suppress the fact black artists are the most talented singers, producers, dancers and artists in the music industry. Bring back Sharon Osbourne and axe Cheryl Cole.

X Factor doesn’t owe you anything – if you knew your papers weren’t straight you shouldn’t go on the show, to drag them into your mess. Blame your mama!

Give it a rest, this is old news now. Simons lawyers are seeking to help them get the deportation stopped. As for Xfactor knowing all about the visa issue, of course they did. Although Cheryl has shouldered the blame for them to save Xfactor butt’s, we all know she was instructed not to put Gamu through because of visa issues – end of. Cher Lloyd gave a sensational performance on Xfactor tonight, and proved Cheryl was right to put her through.

Perhaps she made the choice herself due to the visa issues because she has a brain and realised it would cause major problems.

    Cheryl is a FAKE!!

The X factor was informed about Gamu situation from Day one. If it was a problem then they should have said so, and not made her enter the compitition. I think due to Gamu circumstances the right thing would have been for Simon to talk to her. I think Simon only called in his Lawyers when he knew X factor would be blamed by the press, and possible from the Governement. X Factor has a responsiblity to take care of an Artists if the situation is needed. I think Gamu should have gone through regardless of how Cher and Katie peformed. Lets be honest they couldnt do know worse. I think Cher has a got some Swagger with the Dance moves, but she struggled vocally, may get foundout as the competition goes a Head. As for Katie why is she there ? 24 and the vocals havent developed yet. And i hope Rebbecca is given better songs..Any way I dont think Gamu needs X factor or Simon Cowell to make it successful. I dont think she should come back. And if i was a label..I would sign up straight away. She has the hype around her to make her sucessful and show she is start we all thought she would be. I must Say big up to Tracy and PaigeDid really well. Didnt like the Way Danni styled paige, and i hope that fresh price image goes out the window. GAMU still gets my 100 cent backing…And you know what this X factor will always be remembered for Gamu regardless who wins
