X Factor: Has Misha B been offered a record deal with Universal already?
Misha B may have just been eliminated from The X Factor last night but it has been claimed that already, the Mancunian singer has been offered her first record deal.
The 19 year old singer missed out on her chance to sing in the final – which will be broadcast from Wembley Arena this weekend – after being voted off the ITV show last night.
Kelly Rowland predicted yesterday that Misha will definitely get a deal no matter what and it seems she may be right, as Jeff Brazier told This Morning hosts Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby just minutes ago that she has already had her first offer.
He said:
‘Huge gossip! I’ve heard that she’s been signed to Universal already.’
Of course this is as yet unconfirmed and while Misha may have received an offer from the huge record label, she couldn’t have signed with them just yet as she is still tied into her restrictive SYCO contract.
When she was asked about the rumoured deal, Misha went all coy and said:
I’ve not signed anything yet, but some great things have come my way.
But wouldn’t it be great if she did land a record deal away from Simon Cowell? We think Misha’s first album would be different to any other X Factor act who has come before. Go Misha!

Good for Misha! She didn’t need to win X Factor. She was the best contestant on the entire show and one of the best contestants EVER! She just needed it as a platform. Apart from Leona the other winners are a major flop, so it goes to show you don’t need to win to be the best!
Kelly Rowland is signed to Universal as well. Hmmmmmm this is interesting. I’m so happy for Misha shes the best and didnt deserve all the BS the press and public gave her. Shes #winning.
If she does stay with Syco and it has no say in the recordings song choice album sleeve then she’ll be ok. Rebecca Ferguson managed it but then again she knows what she wants to do.
The real winner in my eyes is Misha B. She was the most deserving, talented and original. She’s the only one who came across as a professsional interntional superstar, as Louis himself observed. Littlemix are third rate amateuris by comparison, who have got there by hype and because of the hate campaign against Misha.
She’ll do fine. She has a great fighting spirit. Even those who criticise her as a person mostly admit that her talent can’t be denied. What the record companies are looking for first and foremost is talent, not popularity. As they know only too well, popularity is fickle and can change and be built overnight, and they have big publicity machines to deal with that. It’s talent that you can’t change. You either have it or you don’t and she has it in abundance. Be sure they will be chasing her as soon as they have the chance, just as they did Janet half an hour after she was out of the show.
Misha is nothing special ands I suspect alot of this talk about her is no more than others trying to get a bit of publicity on the back of the X-Factor.
If Universal want a karaoke singer of moderate ability able to sing abridged cover versions then Misha is their girl.
What she is not, at the moment, is a credible artist.
hi, quick question- can you sing? and what makes you a judge of good talent?
I cannot play football to any great ability but I know a good footballer when I see one. I can tell the difference between Wayne Rooney and the Rochdale Centre Forward.
I am giving my opinion on her singing. I do not know what your problem with that is.
everyone has an opinion and everyone deserves to be able to voice their opinion but misha b was not just a karaoke singer, she who you are nearly as good as jessie j, her rendition of rolling in the deep was brilliant and she very rarely had any problems with her vocals… now i didnt like kitty brucknell… but i admit she was a great singer… you obviously are not able to see talent when you look at it, trawl the net many people give out about misha’s attitude but her performances are praised! her take on classic songs and styling are making her a very credible artist and you will see in the future just how wrong you are!
I am perfectly able to see talent, sadly some people get carried away by what is a reality show and elevate the mediocre to a status they do not merit. The X Factor is a collection of singers belting out abridged cover versions. Nothing more. Nothing less.
We just can wish her goodluck! If it’s true. Those, who don’t like her. They don’t need to buy her records, anyway!
Brilliant news for Misha. Haters eat your hearts out if you thought she was going to go in the dumps. I cant believe she was kicked out in favour of little mix!
LOVE YOU MISHA B!!!!!!
politics and racism rule x factor, Misha b is a great singer, no matter how they treat us deep down they know, we have the pontetial………..
I agree with Monpaps…a lot of the hatred towards Misha B was to do with her colour, the bullying story was just an excuse people used to justify their hatred for a talented artist. The truth is the UK is deeply racist, but because it is latent, it is often ignored and the your average racist refuses to see and/or accept that they are one.
GOOOOOOOO MISHA B!!!!!
