X Factor: Hear Leona Lewis’ new track Trouble & more details about her new album (VIDEO)

Former X Factor winner Leona Lewis has today announced that her new track, Trouble, will be released on October 7th and we have a sneak peek listen to it for you after the jump.

Made in collaboration with US rapper Childish Gambino, Trouble was written by pop star Emeli Sande and is taken from Leona’s forthcoming album, Glassheart, which will be released on October 15.

Glassheart was originally due to be released back in November 2011, but Entertainmentwise report that “perfectionist Leona” kept delaying the release in order to ensure that everything about it was just right.

Of Trouble, Leona said, “Trouble’ tells the story of love going bad and becoming destructive, aspects of which we can all relate to…

“It’s a deeply emotional and poignant song that I have a real connection to.”

However, Glassheart won’t apparently be all ballads and will feature some tracks that are a new genre for Leona.

She said, “On my new album I will be rapping. I’ve discovered my voice for rapping!

“I could probably go up against Nicki Minaj now. I’m actually that good…

“So I’m coming for you Nicki! London-style MCing.”

Here’s the intro of Trouble…

What do you think of it?
