X Factor reject, Icaro Taborda, has managed to give one of the weirdest interviews on live TV this year.

Phillip Schofield and Fern Britton didn’t know what hit them when the whirlwind who is Icaro entered the This Morning studios today.

Icaro began the unusual interview by grabbing some affection from Fern and Phillip.

Icaro: “Can I do whatever I want?”

Fern: “Er, well almost?”

Icaro: “So can I do what I feel like to do right now?”

Phillip: “What do you feel like doing?”

“I feel like ‘to hug’ you. Please let me do it.” Icaro begged Fern and then leaned over for a bear hug.

Phillip watched, slightly disturbed. “I’m watching you” he said to Fern. “Don’t worry you’re safe. I’ll be in there in you need help.”

Icaro: “She smells lovely.”

Phillip joked, “Yes she always smells lovely, that’s gin.”

Icaro then turned his attentions to a scared looking Phillip. “And if you permit me, I want to kiss you as well”, he said before planting a smacker on Phillip’s cheek before he had time to politely decline.

When questioned about Louis being his mentor he made the incredible claim that he and Sharon Osbourne would have ended up having an affair, had she been selected for the over 35’s.

Icaro: “Actually when we made the final six they said, who do you want to be your mentor? I was the only one from the six who said, ‘I don’t want Sharon because if I go to her house we’re gonna end up having an affair. I don’t want Danni because she’s too pretty as well and I will choke, I won’t be able to say anything. And they say, so do you want Simon. I say no, Simon is the powerful man, I am a humble man. I want Louis because there is something about his shiny hair and his eyes – I want him. The fountain of love knew it was him. Do you know about the phantom of love?”

Fern: “No.”

Icaro: “You don’t know Fern? You see they cover up that. At the moment you’re speaking to Icaro. But if I looked at you, give me your hand.” He reached over and took her hand.

Icaro: If I look at you start feeling it. And I’m not lying.”

Phillip “Are we about to see your phantom of love?”

Suddenly Icaro recoiled and withdrew his hand asking “Don’t touch me anymore. Because the phantom starts coming.”
