X Factor: Icaro Taborda Thinks He Was Stitched Up By Louis Walsh

X Factor contestant Icaro Taborda has revealed that he believes he was stitched up by Louis Walsh during bootcamp, and thinks that Louis onlly asked him to sing Radiohead’s ‘Creep’ so that people would laugh at him.

“The clue to how Louis regards me is the title and lyrics – ‘I’m a creep, I’m a weirdo, what the hell am I doing here? I don’t belong here’. How unpleasant was that of him?” Icaro told the Sunday Mirror.

“Louis is a nasty prima donna. He stitched me up so I looked foolish and that was unforgivable. I put everything into doing my best with the song, even though he only gave me three days to learn the lines and rehearse it. Now my dreams of stardom are crushed.”

Now we all know that I am no fan of Louis’. In fact I am about as far away from a fan of Louis as one can get. But in this instance I have to defend the

X Factor judge. Louis may have been poking fun at Icaro, but Icaro shouldn’t have been at bootcamp in the first place. He can’t sing, and his only attraction for the judges and producers is that people would find him funny. If Icaro had given serious auditions he would never have gotten as far as he did. Icaro made a fool of himself at every stage of the show. He was a likeable bloke, but to act and sing as he did and then blame Louis because people laughed at him was a tad hypocritical. Get over it Icaro!

I did see Icaro live in the Real radio Bonfire show in Cardiff last Saturday (20000 peaple turned up).
He was amazing! The guy can realy sing.
He done 3 songs live (one with no background music at all) and in my opinion he was the best singer there.
The X factor did not show him singing for some reason.
My friend watched Icaro live in Swansea too and saisd he was singing just before Shane Ward and that Icaro was fantastic.
Please stop to slag the guy! He never went to X factor to talk about death in the family and only gave us smile during his time in the tv.
Watch out because he may be back in the show and hopefully we will see him singing this time without editing tricks.
    Rob
