This week is Big Band week on X Factor and the act’s guest mentor has been singing star, Michael Buble.

After hearing each of them sing their songs, Michael gave his verdict on some of the acts. On Joe McElderry, he said: ‘He’s just a sweet little guy – sultry and sexy are the words I’d use.’

Miss Frank also impressed. Michael told the girlband: ‘I expected a lot from you all but you’re even better, you’ve updated a classic. The girl power is strong.’

On Stacey Michael said: “She’s so cute, I told her to go home, write out the lyrics, read and read and let the song do the work – do it for her little guy.”

And Welsh teenager Lucie Jones also made a big impression: ‘I got more than I expected, people will go crazy for her,’ he said. ‘Pitch perfect.’

About Danyl Johnson, he gushed: ‘Enjoy it – you’re gonna kill it.’

But John and Edward didn’t impress quite so much. Michael said: ‘It’s difficult to sing and dance at the same time, I’m enjoying seeing you two do what you’re doing.’
