X Factor: Is Diana Vickers Acting Like A Diva?

X Factor finalist, Diana Vickers is said to be acting like a spoilt diva behind the scenes of the ITV talent show.
She is reported to be upsetting both staff and contestants alike by her constant demands and grumpy behaviour.
A source told The Daily Star: “Diana comes across as really angelic and sweet on the show, but she makes a bit of a fuss.
“Most people behind the scenes think she needs a bit of a kick up the backside.
“She doesn’t like being filmed before she has her makeup done and the constant cameras in the house that the finalists share.”

Trust me, Diana wont be acting like that, she’s a friend of mine and she has such a vibrant, hilarious personality and theres not a single bad bone in her gorgeous body! haha x

I think Diana is amazing, her voice is differnt and unique, she should deffinately win, theres too many copy cats and the typical popstars these days, good luck Diana!

OMG I love Diana.
I don’t believe she moans about everything and is grumpy all the time. But if she is, remember that she’s the youngest girl at only 17 and is still a teenager.

Diana is a breath of fresh air in the world of stale music, she dares to be different, she dares to be true to herself. I don’t have a problem with that. She has however, stolen two songs off the original artists and made them all her own. The songs are; Man in the mirror – i was in a stunned silence throughout her performance, and With or without you – U2 could never put such wonderful feeling to that song.

I think Diana is a really bad singer.
I don’t think she is unique at all, besides Simon said at her audition that he didn’t like the sound of the Christina Aguilera take-off.
Personally I think she sounds like a crappy mixture of Shakira and Christina with a muck weaker volume.

I’m afraid I have to agree with Phoebe. I think her diction is terrible and her voice is weak. However, there are obviously a lot of people who like her and the judges will say they like it because they know it will sell. It just won’t sell to people who know what a bad singer is when they hear one. She’s only 17 though, shame she’s not singing in front of people who will tell her the truth. A good singing teacher could get rid of her bad habits and strengthen her voice. Maybe then she’d have a shot a decent career in the music industry. As it is, I think she will be another flash in the pan.

So, she sounds like Christina or Shakira does she? I think NOT. We have tried to find anyone Diana sounds like…perhaps a little regina spektor mixed with Sinead Oconnor and Delores from the Cranberries. But Christina and Shakira GOOD GRIEF. As for her “weak voice” well she was as ever pitch perfect with a powerful vocal over the big band. And what’s more…you could hear every word. Her diction was that good. makes you “smile” when people talk twaddle. This little girl is totally unique, contemporary, whistful, but no wimp – the voice is strong and clear. So far on stage she has dressed as a perfect role model for modern teens (not a christina midriff in sight thank god), the Peaches look mixed with shades of Twiggy in the Boyfriend. Clever styling maybe, but its a breath of fresh air. Theres no pleasing some people, unless you sing flat and dance about to overcome your weak vocal, or reduce louis walsh to – CROCODILE tears (now that did deserve a prize next tv awards show…best emotional ham up). So obvious it was almost funny. But not for poor Scott who suffered for Louis obvious determination to take a swipe at Simon with his vote. Shame on you Walsh after all you said about Daniel previously and did we see a small triumphan gloat a few moments later?!. OF COURSE the guy put a lot of passion into his wife’s tribute, but Scott must have known he was up against that emotional card before he started. No wonder he was so downcast. But it’s meant to be a singing competition and only one of the two sang in key.

I Think Diana Does Have an Amazing Singing Voice And She’s Gorgoues But I Doubt She’ll Win As Shes Not Really commercial Enough Unfourtunatly, And Remember, XFactors Only Issue Is Making Money.

I know anything I say against her will just be shot down, but I SERIOUSLY disagree with the whole ‘her voice is so unique’ thing. It is REALLY not. I’ve sat through many secondary school ‘talent’ contests with hordes of teenage girls trying to sing in exactly the same way as their ‘fave singer’ and I’m telling you, they all sound the same as her- disjointedly squeaky and breathy, singing with their throats closed, sounding like Andy from little Britain. Say ‘I want that one’ to your self and then sing ‘And it was all yellow’ and you’ll find you sound exactly like she did on Saturday. There is no talent to the way she is using her voice, I can do exactly the same with my voice (I‘m just not as beautiful as she is ((and don‘t get me wrong I REALLY think she is stunning)). Ok if that’s what people want to hear, fine, If that’s what makes a successful singer. But any of the girls I have watched singing in front of my school in the Christmas concerts do exactly the same voice.

Sorry guys…it’s a no no, yep her voice is definitely different. Even is she gets a contract she won’t be around for long, she’ll fade in and out just as quickly. Yeah she’s lovely and pretty but guys she just can’t sing and when she does, it’s damned flat !! There’s far better singers out there who the public will pay to see, she ain’t one of them, she’s another five minute wonder !

Hang on…..first thing Diana is a fake and the illness thing proved it all, i think thats when the public turned agaisnt her. Second thing she has been booted out…..thank god…she cant sing its screachhhhing and she looked god dam ugly on saturday. She isnt unique and theres no market for her…in fact her and owen!!! shouldnt even of been in that competition, good singers lost there place because of them kids! Goodbye diana vickers
