Simon Cowell confirmed today that there will be at least two more series of The X Factor but warned fans that they would see big changes in the future. He told GMTV: “The programme will look a little bit different next year. You don’t want it to look the same each year, so there will be a few surprises.”

He also added that despite Louis threat to quit they hoped he would return as a judge next year . He said: “We’ll definitely have to have Louis back. It just wouldn’t be the same without him. Besides, what else is he going to do? It’s the best job in telly.”
