Jade Fubara took to the X Factor stage tonight and I wasn’t expecting much. All the big talents are normally leaked days before. We tend to have already read their story, or have heard clips of their auditions well in advacne of the show airing. If we haven’t heard about you, you’re normally crap. Tonight, Jade seemed to come out of nowhere.

The 17 year old walked onto the stage and told Simon that she was going to sing And I’m Telling You. Simon’s response was:

“That’s a big song Jade!”

She launched into a real diva like performance and was every bit as talented as last year’s winner, Alexandra Burke. She didn’t even need a backing track to help her along.

Cheryl described her as “raw, amazing talent”, Louis told her she “makes it all so worthwhile, what the X Factor is all about”. She got a resounding seal of approval from the judging panel, with Simon Cowell predicting big things for her. Nice one!
