X Factor: Jedward’s Lipstick to be used in Leonardo DiCaprio – Hyundai campaign
Jedward have reportedly added yet another feather to their cap and earned half a million pounds by selling their Eurovision single for use in a new advertising campaign.
The X Factor stars – who have fared better and made more money than most winners of the ITV show – will represent Ireland at the competition in Düsseldorf this May with their song ‘Lipstick.’
The Sun has reported that the track will be used in an advertisement for Hyundai, which will star Titanic actor Leonardo DiCaprio.
A source told the newspaper:
“We didn’t think anyone in that part of the world had heard the song. The lads are caning it in Europe ahead of Eurovision, so it was a surprise to be asked by Hyundai.
“But the money is good so whatever happens in Düsseldorf in May they’ll be winners.”
The boys are currently fronting an ad campaign for moneysupermarket.com and insiders claims that they will make a total of £3 million in 2011 from this and their sold out UK tour.
The new Hyundai ad featuring ‘Lipstick’ will premiere on April 1 – Keep your eyes peeled!
