Former X Factor winner Joe McElderry has admitted that he still gets nervous when watching the ITV show.
The 19 year old told The Daily Record that he knows exactly what is ahead for the show’s hopefuls, admitting that they can expect to have ‘a stressful time’ but added ‘they’ll have the best experience ever.’
“I getting nervous every time I watch it.
“I feel really strange watching it and you know how they feel at that point where they are now.
“The contestants have no idea what is going to happen. They know they are through to boot camp but once you’re through you still wonder what you have to expect and how many songs have you to learn.
“It’s such a stressful time but they’ll have the best experience ever.”
Joe has been booked in to perform his new single Ambitions on an X Factor live show and admitted that he is excited but nervous about returning to the stage.
He said: “I’m really excited about it. I’ve got to go on X Factor again and I’ve got butterflies already.
“It kind of feels like it’s the first live show again but obviously this is the fun part now and it’s a great opportunity to go back on.”
