X Factor winner Joe McElderry’s debut single ‘The Climb’ has overtaken Rage Against The Machine’s ‘Killing In The Name’ and has taken the number one spot in several download charts.

Both Amazon and iTunes list ‘The Climb’ at the top of their download charts, despite Rage Against The Machine’s huge Facebook campaign to steal the Christmas spot.

All this is fantastic news for our new X Factor winner, who just landed a £1 million recording deal and is reportedly being groomed to become the next Zac Efron.
