X Factor: Joe McElderry keeps his cool as stars go into melt down
With only three weeks to go until the X Factor final, the contestants are beginning to feel the strain. As the pressure builds, many of the singers are rumoured to be at breaking point, with only young Joe McElderry taking it all in his stride.
A pal of Stacey Solomon’s told The Sun that she is worried that the public will tire of her ‘wooden performances. They said:
She said: “She knows she’s a good singer, but she’s not energetic and can look wooden.”
The newspaper also reports that Danyl threatened to quit if this week’s performance is bad, Lloyd wants to go home to his mum and Olly is upset that other acts are getting an easier ride than him.

joe is amazing for his age and is very professional. Stacey we love your voice and who says you have to jump around to be a star. Olly you are amazing and it shows how hard you work. Lloyd needs to wait a couple of years then he will be great. Danyl is an average singer with nothing special to offer which is probably why he has been gettting annoyed. The twins the same as always a silly OTT performance but they don’t let it bother them.
The nerves are the same for everyone and lets not forget how young Lloyd is not surprised he wants his mum.

Definitely — Joe is amazing considering he only “stumbled” onto his voice a few years back. I did read a similar article to this on Digital Spy and Olly said he wasn’t happy because the others are getting more of a free ride than he is. I have no idea what that means unless he is referring to the drama queen, Danyl, or the controversial twins . . . ?
Joe has an amazing presence… his face lights up the stage and a voice that belts out – IN TUNE!! the others aren’t really up to same level, Olly clearly struggled last night, very bad. The other possible contender, Stacey is alright but NO Leona and can’t hold her notes brilliantly. sorry guys – Joe to win (hopefully)!!!
JOE IS ABSOLUTELY THE VERY BEST!!!! I agree wholeheartedly with Michael’s comments. Joe is the only singer who completely transforms himself when he comes on stage. He is alive, energetic and electrifying. All his performances are very good, I like the Michael Buble’ one particularly because Joe has sung it brilliantly and danced so exquisitely with that lovely romantic expression on his face. AN ABSOLUTE PERFORMER AND STAR!!!!
Joe’s very professional for his age. But I think Lloyd is better. And it’s not just because I’m a teenager, I think he’s really good.
