Joe McElderry has admitted that he is ‘nervous’ about meeting George Michael this week.

Joe will be duetting with George on this Saturday’s X factor final but is the only contestant that hasn’t yet met his partner.

Olly Murs met Robbie Williams when he appeared on the show earlier this year and Stacey has also had a celebrity masterclass with Michael Buble.

The Sun quote Joe as saying that he is “nervous” about meeting George.

He added: “I’m just going to hyperventilate before I go on and put all the nerves into the performance.”

Olly then revealed that he has already heard from Robbie about this week’s performance.

He said: “Robbie left a message on my answerphone saying he was looking forward to meeting up.

“It’s pretty surreal getting a message off someone like that.”
