X Factor: John and Edward Grimes are ’so bad that they’re good’
X Factor choreographer, Brian Friedman has admitted that he does have a special place in his heart for John and Edward Grimes.
Despite thousands of viewers calling for them to be axed, Brian told The Mirror:
“The boys are totally insane to watch in rehearsals – but they have a huge fan base. Out of everyone, they are the contestants that everyone is talking about. They are so bad that they are good.
“I enjoy working with them on their set – it’s so theatrical and over the top.”
On other singers to watch this year Brian added:
“Danyl is amazing to watch and very professional,” he said.
“But there are some real dark horses this year. Miss Frank nailed Whitney’s All The Man this week. They are ladies with huge voices and will do well.
“My other favourites are Rachel Adedeji and Lucie Jones. I think they both have incredible talent and considering they are so young they really seem to pick things up well.”

Brian has to say that the producers have told the mentors, presenters etc that they are not allowed to say anything negative about the twins and have to praise them up. Therefore, I would not be interested in what they have to say as its all PR. Brian has done a complete u turn.
I know why the presenters are backing these useless twins and keeping them in the Fix Factor. because they know they are ratings dynamite. people are tuning in not to see who gets through but to see if the twins get dropped. so watch to see how long they can string it out. I don’t believe the twins did get voted through just like I don’t believe a word coming from the presenters mouths.
People should remember this is a singing competition, not Britain’s Got Talent?

John and Edward where do we start just where do we start. Ok ill start shall i the most awesome and funniest loveable twins ive ever heard of. So cute and irish that i wish i knew them in real life. Seriously how are they cocky or any of the things people like Simon Cowell call them.
They clearly do have a massive fanbase since they got through and beat the likes of Ricky and Rachael. There is no point being a singer if you can’t please the crowd and obviously the twins have what it takes to be a pop star. Sure not the best vocals in the world but that can be improved on.
So people know you should see past your ignorant views that in the end they are just like everyone a pair of people trying out for x factor who people happen to love and get voted for. It’s their lifes so stop trying to destroy their dream. Give them a chance jesus!
We could say the same about Llyod here couldn’t we?? well since his last song was utter rubbish yet people voted him but why?? for his looks yes! and the x factor is about talent right not looks
so that has pretty much ended every one saying the twins can’t sing and they shouldn’t be here!
The fact is they are here because people enjoy their preformances yet everyone takes all their problems out on them. How is it the twins fault that Ricky didn’t get through that Cheryls act wasn’t liked as much as the handsome twins.
They have everything the sexy irish accent ^^ the adorable looks the amazing humour and i believe they can sing i have enjoyed all their preformances so far diva week being their best.
Twins ftw! i will be so distraught if they get voted out next week. I do know if it comes to a sing off the judges would choose the other act besides Loui because that is how ignornant they can be. I will be voting for them again
They cannot sing very well and they are definatly not as good as the other acts, I am very suprised they are still in the competion, Axe them now, Come on people wake up!, We want good singers to listen to, not wailing that my grandmother could sing better, What the hell is the world coming to, how the hell they beat Ricki nobody knows, he was so much better, every person I have spoken to says they are rubbish. Now hopefully they get sent off next week.
I agree John and Edawrd and talentless little twats who don’t deserve to be there. Unfortunately, you can’t ‘vote them off’, you can only vote other contestants ‘on’. Personally, I’d rather listen to Pinky and Perky while having caustic soda rubbed in my face but they’ll probably be there to the bitter end because nine-year-olds can remember who they are.

John and Edward got picked for the final 12 because they have the X factor. STAR Quality Boyz. Love your style. Regardless of the bad things things some say about you, you’re the ones strutting your stuff on TV every weekend and having a great time. NOT them.

Twins are rubbish get them out before any other great singers gets voted off. They do not even have the savvy to realist themselves they are rubbish they should quit like John Sargent done in Strictly. John and Edward bow out gracefully you are both rubbish and ruining a great Saturday night programme. Louis should leave the country and take the twins with him.
To the negative moaners and everyone bad mouthing the twins, you are a DISGRACE. Fully grown adults talking about children in that way is shocking. Seriously this show is an ENTERTAINMENT show. Anyone who takes fluff like X factor seriously has NO taste and NO CLUE about music. The end result is pop clones like Alexandra Burke. Who cares!? No one on X factor will evr make any real impact on music and will be long forgotten in 20 years.
The twins are humble, down to earth, quirky, loveable little guys. They’re doing what the love and look like the only sincere people on the show. I and many others find them very entertaining and look forward to seeing them. I’ll stop watching when they’re gone because the others are bland. If you don’t like them TURN IT OFF.

Well Cat I hope you have to stop watching soon and as you so don’t think X-Factor is about music and being a good singer I’m not sure why you watch it. These boys should have been on BGT if they wanted to be a comedy act as X-Factor is about finding a good singer, yes they have to entertain as well but mainly a good singer as they get a recording contract.
Singing lessons will not necessarily make their voice any better if they do not have one to start with. Also Brian Fieldman say they are a nightmare to work with as they do not listen, think they know it all and mess about, then the Grime Twins boast how they are the only ones who work hard and are talented. This does not sound like humble or sincere to me they are cocky and think they are better than what they are, they believe their own hype, they are so fake.
Please they are not children they are 18 years old so god help us they are adults, yes I agree they act like children but they are not and it gets boring when everyone defending them goes on about them being children. Lloyd and Joe are younger than them I don’t hear anyone going on about them being little children but maybe thats because they don’t act like it and they can actually sing, in Lloyds case not very strongly bit give him a couple of years and he will. You could give Grime Twins a couple of years and they still will not be able to sing or danced and the novelty of seeing them prance around the stage acting stupid and dressed in silly costumes will wear off very quickly. How will they manage an album their gimmick is their stupidity and you will not see that if you are listening to an album so that is why they do not deserve to win X-Factor. They should try holiday camps or something as a comedy act but sorry to call them singer/entertainer is something laughable.
From comments I read apart from the little 13year olds who are in love with them most of the adults who vote for them are doing so to annoy Simon Cowell or to be able to laugh at them again the following week. Now that is what I call disgraceful behaviour using the twins to amuse themselves and in the process humiliate them, later when the twins look back at their performances, costumes, their behaviour they will find it difficult and probably wished they had left the show earlier.
