X Factor: John and Edward Grimes cracking under the pressure!

X Factor singers John and Edward Grimes are said to be cracking under the pressure of being the nations most hated teenagers.
The pair have faced harsh criticism since they made the final shows in October, they have had Facebook hate campaigns aimed at them and have been booed after every performance they have given. The hate mail and constant pressure have taken their toll and the twins are rumoured to have broken down in tears on a number of occasions.
John told The Daily Star: “It is hard to hear boos when you finish a number, especially when you have put your heart and soul into it.
“But you know what? These people really don’t know why they are booing and it is all part of a campaign.
“We know that there are a lot of negative things said about us. But our parents, our friends and our fans know how hard we work.
“They understand what is going on and they really believe in what we are doing and I know that they support us.
“Of course, the boos are difficult to deal with. But we have each other to lean on and Louis Walsh has been simply amazing.”
A show source added: “The boys are trying to stay positive but all the abuse is finally starting to tell.
“Anyone would crack under that onslaught. Producers are really worried that they could just snap under the pressure. People forget they are only 18.”
Louis Walsh is also worried about the boys and the negative press they have received.
He blasted: “They are working so hard at the moment and are trying to please everyone.
“People think that it is fun to just boo them when they are on stage but it is just not fair.
“You don’t see the twins’ family and friends attacking any of the other singers. They just would not do it.
“But what people don’t see are the hours of hard work and emotional energy that it takes to get the finished product.
“I just can’t say enough about the twins. They are great fun and lovely guys who deserve to be there.”
