X Factor: John and Edward Grimes got highest amount of votes

X Factor twins, John and Edward Grimes reportedly got the highest amount of public votes last weekend, sparking fears amongst show bosses that they may actually win the whole show.
The boys got mostly negative reviews from the judges after they performed ‘She Bangs’ on Saturday night. However their lack of singing ability hasn’t deterred their fans.
One insider told The Sun: “It is extraordinary. John and Edward were miles ahead of any other act.
“Whoever wins the X Factor, you can usually guarantee they can sing.
“If John and Edward win, it will no longer be a show about great singers – it could be disastrous. But you know what? It could happen.”
Louis Walsh responded to the news by claiming that the boys have the ‘likeability’ factor. He said: “Kids love these guys – everywhere I go they come up to me and tell me they think they’re great.
“They’re young, they’re fun and they have the likeability factor, which is what this show is all about.
“I know some don’t like them, but they should back off and leave them alone. They put a smile on your face – what’s wrong with that?”

And the kids voted to give Eoghan Quinn the highest number of votes last year for six weeks running only for Alexandra to win the show and where is Eoghan now?
The Seychelles?
“The kids” …what a patronising assumption that is!
LordSnooty – it was children keeping Eoghan in, how could you possibly assume otherwise.
