X Factor: Katie Waissel to release debut album on Monday
Katie Waissel has revealed that she will be releasing her debut album in just four days time.
The 24 year old singer shot to fame on last year’s X Factor series and after her first audition, quickly became one of the most controversial contestants the show has ever seen.
There was a lot of furore at the time, as Waissel had already recorded an album and was set to release it in America with Chamberlain Records last year. However, it was said at the time that Simon Cowell came to an agreement with label owner Jason Silverman and managed to delay the release, it will now hit the shelves on Monday 14th March.
On her new album Katie said:
“I’m so excited that this album is ready for a release. I co-wrote these songs so they mean a lot to me. To have the opportunity to share them with everyone is a dream come true for me.”
