X Factor finalist Kerry McGregor is pining for her baby boy who is currently hundreds of miles away in West Lothian, Scotland.

While Kerry shares a house with her fellow X Factor contestants, 17 month old Joshua is living at home in Scotland with Kerry’s mum.

“It’s absolutely heart-wrenching,” admitted single mum Kerry.

“I’ve left him with my mum and I’m desperately missing him, I want to see him so much.”

Kerry added: “Life is a raw deal. But at the end of the day the only restrictions you have are the ones you place on yourself. I can’t walk away from this a failure. It’s going to make me a stronger person.

“And if he can see his mum giving it her all it will show him that it’s possible to achieve something that seems impossible.He’s going to benefit from it.”
