X Factor: Leon Jackson Will Take It Slow

Leon Jackson will be following the Leona Lewis path to success, after winning the X Factor in December. SYCO will not be rushing out his debut album, the young artist will instead spend around one year working on the record, and will not release any new music in that time.
A source close told the Daily Star yesterday: “Mistakes were made with past X Factor winners.
“But the team behind Leon is determined to get it right.
“Album work with Syco will be a long process, just like it was with Leona.
“The producers are going to make sure Leon works with some of the biggest hitmakers and songwriters and that he doesn’t just release an album of covers.
They added:
“He will stay true to his roots and stick with the style of music that the fans loved on the show. It will be swing and jazz – there won’t be a radical change in direction.
“But the most crucial thing is that it won’t be rushed through. We’re looking at autumn at the very earliest.”

This could be a mistake as he has not got so much talent as Leona has. Hope it goes well for him but I am not sure he is ready for fame and everything that comes with it yet.
