X Factor: Leona Lewis Reveals That She Isn’t Actually Shy
Leona lewis has hit back at people criticisng her for being introverted and shy, she claims that she is neither!
“I am confident and I like having fun. I’m just not loud,” she told The Mirror. “It doesn’t hurt when people say I should stop being shy. I met Rod Stewart and he said he used to be more nervous than me before he went on stage. Because I’m so private, singing gives me a voice. It’s a release.
“I don’t think of myself as a sex symbol. I find that embarrassing. And even if I became successful I wouldn’t make any diva demands. I’m just not that sort of person. I admire Beyonce and her work ethic.”

i already new she wasn’t shy . look at her when she sings she gives it everything if i was shy i wouldn’t sing with all my heart or give it my all. you would be kinda quiet aswell if you were shy!!!
I think she is pretty overhyped and Leon Jackson and Shayne Ward are more talented and natural singers and great on tour. For me Leona lacks believability in her performance and she seems to concentrate on piercing height vocals which leaves me cold. Now Adam Lambert on American Idol has the whole package and he is someone along with Leon and Shayne I would pay money for their music. I think Leona is not in the right career but it is perhaps on her mum would have enjoyed.
