Outgoing X Factor singer, Laura White was robbed on Saturday night I think we all agree. Not only is she a fabulous singer, but she also plays the piano and writes her own music…..I wonder if Rachel Hylton can do that?

A pal of Laura’s tipped us off at the weekend saying that some of her original tracks are nothing short of amazing and urged us to seek them out, he particularly loved a track named ‘She’. We were chatting to Laura this morning and asked her where we could get our hands on some of her original songs.

She told Unreality TV:

“They were all on my MySpace page – at the moment they’re available to download and they’ve actually gone number one and number two in the Download Chart. If you go on to memusic.co.uk, you can download them (Laura’s page is here), and these are songs I’ve written myself. She isn’t up there yet, but it’ll be released shortly.”

We asked if she minded performing constant covers on the X Factor and she replied:

“I didn’t mind covers, because I’ve been doing gigs for years doing cover versions. But I would ultimately love to get a deal and get my own music out there. I’d definitely want to have some input writing, because that’s what I am.”
