The X Factor live shows are to start on Saturday the 15th of October and run right through until Christmas Eve. This gives us a almost a month of extra live shows than last year as the judges this year have four final acts in each category compared to last years three.

The final audition show will air this Saturday on ITV1. For the following two weeks we will follow the final 50 acts as they attend X factor bootcamp and are whittled down to just 12 for the lives shows and public vote! Thats where the excitment will really begin!
