X Factor: Lloyd Daniels doesn’t want to be a ‘nervous little boy’

The mum of X Factor contestant Lloyd Daniels has said that the 16 year old is determined that people will look beyond his age and lack of experience.
Lisa, 41, talked about watching her son perform on the first live show. She told WalesOnline:
“We could see him waiting at the side of the stage on Saturday before he sang and he did look nervous.
“But he said because he’s the youngest he didn’t want to be labelled as the nervous little boy from Wales and wanted to prove to everyone what he could do.
“We thought he did really well but we were relieved by the comments he got from the judges.
“I’m glad he was put through quickly because it was awful for some of the other families having to wait until the end.
“Simon Cowell turned and gave me a thumbs up once he was through.”
Lloyd only managed to grab a five minute chat with his family after the show, before being whisked off by X Factor staff:
“I was a bit upset I couldn’t spend more time with him but I know he’s away doing something he loves.” Lisa said.
“It’s not like he’s in the army and I can’t see him at all. Those are the mothers I feel for. I know he’s enjoying himself and he’s safe.”
