X Factor: Louis Walsh Blasts Smug Simon!
Louis Walsh has hit out once more at fellow X Factor judge Simon Cowell for voting The Unconventionals out of the competition.
Louis told TV Biz he was furious Simon branded his act “diabolicalâ€? and dumped them in favour of Dionne Mitchell. He said: “I couldn’t believe what he did. He was being so smug.
“Losing these guys so early on is just plain wrong. They’re perfect for the show because they’re different.
The band also got in on the act blaming song choice, bad stylists and a lack of airtime on their depature.
Drew Jaymson commented:
He said: “You put your trust in people in the business who are supposed to make the right choices but this didn’t work for us. If we’d sung a cappella like people are used to hearing us we may still be in it.
Drew added: “All I’ll be known for is crying and wearing dodgy knitwear.
Bandmate Liz Ewing, 37, claimed they got less time on screen building up a ‘back story’. She said: “We’re out because we didn’t rely on our tragedies. We’ve got some, believe me.
You’ve gotta feel sorry for these guys, they really are talented.

I agree with Louis to some point, as I liked this group the most. They are different to what is out there and I’m archaic so they scratch me on a spot that needed itching.
They did not seem to get as much attention or air time cos they did not have any obvious heartbreak stories the audience could relate to and thats what people tend to vote for on certain shows. So I agree with Liz completely, I’d like to think they will still do well
As they were my favourite I think they were condemed to to fail. Sorry folks I’m damned.

and eh hem….. can louis call simon smug …… does Louis remember the Conway Sisters.

I liked this group and was hoping to see them go further it’s a pity they are out so early. I agree they are different and that’s what made them a refreshing change. As for the comment about the Conway Sisters - I think they deserved to be out. There was one that always had a face like a slapped bottom and whenever the comments were made at the end she looked sulky and it was if how dare anyone critise them! They also reminded me of The Nolans - sickly

I think Louis had in his mind that Simon had destroyed his own act last year THE CONWAYS, fter all Simon put them in the finals and was shocking OVER ALL the weeks in the way he let them down, SHARON was disgraceful but its widely accepted that she is unprofessional and caustic at times.Simon is SMUG and Ive said before that he’s right when he says people listen to him, they do,but what HE can’t grasp is listening is NOT always agreeing with what you’re hearing.Louis is the fairest minded of the judges.Sharons put the best act out this year anyway in Jonathan at her boot camp, Rod,Newcastle.

I think that they shouldn’t gone but will against Dionne I think they were the right act to go! I love them lots as they were the only act that got me up in my living room dacing and I voted for them a few times because they were having fun - I was loving it! Ashley and Ray can’t sing a note in tune!!!! Lmao!

Simon has a Brobdingnagian ego, but I think its because he is far more erudite than the other two judges.
While I dont know what makes a sucessful judge, I know you cannot do this sucessfully by trying to please everyone. Simon can never be humble cos he just isnt genuis enough to own this virtue. So he will always be smug.
Louis always looks like his in the final stages of Alzheimers, which is great cos with every new day he makes new friends and looses yesterday’s enemies.
Sharon always reminds of a shifty school bully, who bullies only when the teacher is watching and when the teacher comes back, she acts as if butter wouldnt melt in her mouth or anywhere else.
Shame about the inconventials I hope people give them a chance to record or tour. I dont see them as a failure, just not the winners of this show.
I always remember this famous quote when understanding people’s perception to music.
We don’t like their sound, and guitar music is on the way out.”
- Decca Recording Company, rejecting the Beatles, in 1962
PS I always thought the Nolans rather enjoyable

Mistakes from last blog :
Louis looks like he is in the final stages of alzheimer
and sharon only bullies when the teacher is not watching
As you can see education doesnt stop dyslexia.
Thank DOG
I feel “I’m in the Doom for Dancing, romancing, dancing the night away” Yes I did like those Nolans.
And yes one of the Conway sisters did look like she could slap you silly and then sensible again if you said anything negative about their performance.
Aint life grand !

PPS :
Louis is just jealous cos the voices in his head prefer to talk to Simon.
I dont think Drew should worry to much about the clothes and crying, most people have short memories so they wont remember what you were wearing at all.
However Drew has a point, many people judge others on appearance and expect others to judge them on personality, likeability and any other redemming points we can think of at the time.
You’ll do fine( I hope).

Dawn I totally agree that Sharon is a bully with little respect for peoples families’ in the audience as she sets out on her unprofessional, caustic and childish tantrums to get her own way.She will soon get her nasty claws out to the MacDonalds I think they may be her targets this year. They are acts all just starting out, they need constructive support to bring the best out of them.Rod. Shazza’s behaviour is becoming increasingly strange as the show progresses. I wonder how she would react if someone acted like she does- to her offspring (jack, kelly or her doggy).
She scratch their “bloomin” eyes out.
Bloomin is a euphemism for another word which sounds like truckin.
At times I think Mrs Osbourne is being possessed by an evil tiny sprite, a four year old child or likki grahame the cult of our times.
She has taken over from cilla black as queen of ITV and I think it has all simply gone to the foxy, amatory old crone’s head and larynx.
