X Factor: Louis Walsh Brands Dannii Minogue As “Heartless”

X Factor judge Louis Walsh has branded his colleague Dannii Minogue as “heartless” after she vetoed his band, JLS’ song choice for this week.

As we all know, this week is Take That week on the ITV talent show and Louis was trying to secure the song ‘Rule The World’ for his boys JLS. Both Simon Cowell and Cheryl Cole agreed to his decision, but Dannii Minogue had first pick of the songs and insisted that her act, Rachel Hylton get the song.

Even after JLS went to her dressing room to beg for the song Dannii still remained unswayed.

A show source told The Sun: “To say that Louis is furious is an understatement — he is steaming mad.

“JLS were going to sing it on the Best of British night last Saturday, but were saving it instead for Take That week.

“They’ve wanted to do it for so long.

“It’s all kicking off. JLS are devastated. They even went to Dannii’s dressing room after this week’s show, but she’s adamant that Rachel’s going to sing it. The boys are now having to sing Back For Good.”

The source added: “Louis is now going around saying that Dannii’s cold and heartless.”

Good for her, she needs to do what’s best for her act

What’s really disheartening is that people still encourage these shows to go on. Reality idol shows are killing off Britians talent.

After what Louis did to Austin he has no right to criticise Dannii!I, and thousands of other Austin Drage fans are outraged at what has been going on in relation to the X Factor series lately. 2 weeks in a row 2 contestants, both of which were expected to reach the finals (or to come in the top 4 at least, according to public opinion and the bookies’ odds) of the show were voted off.
Now when the public make mistakes like this with the voting (like voting for the cute factor or the sympathy factor as we call it instead of the talent) it is the judges responsibility that they vote out the weaker of the 2 acts based on the performances that they have given thus far, and on their final fighting performance. Now in the case of Austin versus Rachel, Austin’s performances were consistently strong, passionate and phenomenal, proving his talent and his versatility, and Austin’s performance of Billie-Jean was OUTSTANDING. Everyone I know thought so, and yet Louis ripped him to shreds talking about the arrangement! On the other hand Rachel’s performances were consistently weak, as a mixture of bad song choices and rough singing showed that only a very limited type of song suits her voice, and that she was neither versatile, nor a strong performer. Anyway, the justification for keeping her in was that she needed more time to shine, but she had had just as much time as Austin, and if she couldn’t pull off strong and consistent performances over the space of a month, then why should the more talented person suffer to give Rachel yet another chance (which she has still failed to live up to by the way).
Anyway, aside from all that, after these events unfolded on that Saturday night, outraged Austin fans wrote letters complaining to ITV, wrote complaints to Ofcom because they could not get through to Austin’s line, wrote many letters to different newspapers, AND started up the first ever x factor petition to get a contestant back on the show. Yet, somehow, these complaints and this massive petition received no mention on the x factor, and no publicity anywhere else. Then a week later Laura was voted off and this time, mostly because of the massive fuss her mentor Cheryl Cole kicked up, another petition was started, copying Austin’s original, which received a load of publicity and as a result tons and tons more people were aware of this petition and therefore it got more signatures. On behalf of Austin fans, we find this very unfair and we would be very appreciative if every1 reading this could sign it and spread the word, as a lot of people, and possibly even Austin himself, are not aware of all the support out there for Austin Drage. It is not about getting him back on the X factor anymore, it is just about fairness and our show of support for an incredibly gifted and talented young man, who deserves a lot of success to come his way.

Here is the link to his petition (or just google Austin Drage petition): http://www.petitiononline.com/AustinD/petition.html
