Louis Walsh is said to be furious with X Factor host, Dermot O’Leary after he took the p**s out of him several times on Saturday night.

After Louis branded Rachel Hylton’s first performance as “pretty average”, Dermot said, “Wow, I never thought I’d hear Louis Walsh say that hunky angels were average.”

Later that night Dermot joked about Louis enjoying the topless male dancers in Alexandra’s routine too.

A show source told Heat magazine that Louis pulled Dermot aside backstage and gave him a right old rollicking.

The source said:

“Louis was hopping mad and had serious words with Dermot, who looked visibly shocked.”

“The producers then dragged Dermot over the coals. There’s always banter between the judges, but they don’t want stick from Dermot, he is just the host.”

I do wish these X Factor people would just lighten up. The nation delights in seeing Louis Walsh being taken down a peg or two and how would he cope if he was judging American Idol. Let me tell you Ryan Seacrest would not go easy on an old stick in the mud like Walsh!
