X Factor reject Lucie Jones has admitted to harbouring a mammoth crush on fellow contestant Olly Murs.

Speaking to Manchester’s Key 103 radio station, she gushed: “He’s a little cheeky chappy and he’s just the most genuine person.

“He’s got a kind heart and he really does care for people. And he’s gorgeous as well, isn’t he?”

Lucie also admitted that after she was evicted, Simon Cowell tapped her on the nose and said “chin up babe”.

Talking about her shock axe, she said: “I need to get on with my life, I can’t mope about. I’m not a negative person. I look for the best in everything.”
