X Factor singer Lucie Jones has admitted that she was shocked when she first saw herself after her big makeover.

Lucie told The Mirror that her new image was created by mentor Dannii Minogue and she admitted: “I was shocked when I first saw it. It took a bit of getting used to. It’s a lot darker and I have hair extensions.

“But now I love it – I can do much more with it.”

When asked what song she will be singing tomorrow night Lucie said:

“All I can say is that it’s a big song and I have big boots to fill.”

“I’m privileged to sing it because it’s one of my favourites.”

On meeting Robbie Williams, Lucie added: “Meeting Robbie was unbelievable – I used to go and see him with thousands of others in the crowd when I was 10 so I couldn’t believe it was just him and me in the room.

“He was humble and good looking, but I didn’t fancy him – he’s old enough to be my dad!”
