X Factor contestant Lucie Jones has reportedly quit her band in order to achieve success on the ITV show.

The Mirror reports that the Welsh teenager sang for the final time with John Oliver Live last night in Leeds

A source said: “There is a massive buzz about her. All the fan forums are calling her the new Avril Lavigne.

“She is so keen to make it she has given up her place at drama school and her job with the band.”
