X Factor singer Lucie Jones has defended Irish twins, John and Edward Grimes, saying that she hates how the public have targeted them.

Lucie told The Mirror: “I hate that they have been targeted – they are so sweet and innocent.

“They’ve handled the situation in a really mature way.

“The audience will fall in love with them, just like we have.”
