Former X Factor contestant Lucie Jones has been signed by Select Model Management, an agency that helped kick-start the careers of Stella Tennant and Agyness Deyn.

Lucie was evicted from the TV show in week five, when Simon Cowell opted to save John and Edward Grimes over her.

On the news of her signing Lucie said:

‘It’s been a brilliant year. I was very flattered to even be considered by Select.

‘I love fashion, I love beauty and I love singing, so to be able to model alongside my music is the best Christmas present ever. I can’t wait to get going next year.
