X Factor: Marcus Collins reveals debut album will be released in March

Marcus Collins has revealed that his debut album will be released in just a few weeks time.

The X Factor runner up has been in the studio and working closely with his mentor Gary Barlow on the record and took to Twitter this morning to announce that the album is already available to pre-order and will hit the shelves in March 2012.

The former hairdresser told his followers:

I’m delighted to announce you can now pre order my debut album out 12th March. Thankyou so much for all the support

He added:

‘BEEN WORKING NONE STOP !!! I HAD TO MAKE SURE IT WAS RIGHT !! I HOPE U GUYS LOVE IT! I DO! X’

His mentor Gary also took to Twitter this morning, to tease the album and wrote:

It is thought that Marcus will be releasing the album with RCA Records, one of the flagship labels of Sony Music Entertainment. He is still in the studio recording the tracks but needs to get it finished soon, as in early February he will be starting rehearsals for the X Factor nationwide tour, which starts later that month.

It makes me wonder when he started recording this album…

There’s no way he could record, write and edit a whole album worth of songs from December to March.

He must have been recording while he was on the show with pre written songs?

    Or he’ll just have a crappy album…
    I guess we’ll see…
