Mark Hudson has admitted to The People this week that he thinks Leona Lewis lacks the star quality that she will need to become a successful artist.

He stated: “Leona’s voice is incredible and her stage presence and all that – but Leona is missing that other mystery ingredient,” Mark told The People. “It has nothing to do with her singing voice – it has to do with star quality. She just doesn’t have that ‘It’.

“It’s not just sex appeal but it’s this thing where it’s the control of using their face and their eyes to make people melt. And I actually say that to Leona every time before she goes on.

“If she could use her eyes to make people melt she could be a star anywhere. That’s what I want to work on with Leona.”
