X Factor victors Alexandra Burke and Little Mix have of course seen their careers take well and truly off since they won the show, which for Alexandra happened in 2008, and of course, Little Mix won last year.

But today, both have reason to be a tad fed up, and beginning with Alex, that’s because Radio 1 and the Global Radio group are not playing her new track, Let It Go.

And in an interview with The Sun, Alex hinted that she believes the boycott is down to the fact that she’s parted way with Simon Cowell’s record label, Syco in order to sign up with RCA.

She said, “Obviously it’s disappointing. But what can I do? The main thing for me is I’m proud of my music and the fans all love what I’m doing.

“They have all been great. [But] I’m no longer with Simon Cowell’s label – perhaps this says it all…”

Indeed it might, but on now to why Little Mix are perhaps feeling a little blue today, and it’s because they’d organized a big party in honour of the Queen’s Diamond Jubliee, and as given it’s persisting down over most of the country today, it’s most likely been a wash out.

And just to add to Perrie Edwards’ Jubilee weekend gripes, she’s apparently missing her One Direction boyfriend Zayn Malik, who is of course currently in Canada on tour with his band mates.

A source close to Perrie said, “Perrie’s a bit gutted that Zayn Malik can’t come [to the Jubilee party] as he’s on tour with One Direction.”
