X Factor: More details on Danyl Johnson, Stacey Solomon bullying story
More details have emerged in the press today about the alleged rows between X Factor’s Stacey Solomon and Danyl Johnson.
It was reported last Sunday that Danyl had made personal jibes and reduced the single mother to tears. Today The Daily Star accused Danyl of “thrusting” press articles in her face and loudly repeating others.
A source said: “Stacey was adamant when she moved into the X Factor house that she did not want to read or hear any stories about herself.
“But Danyl has just ignored her wishes and he can’t help blabbing when he sees an article about her in the paper. It upsets her and can put her off her performance.”

so not only is he cocky and overconfident he also has no respect for the other contestants wishes and thinks he is somewhat able to do as he pleases.

I think this year’s finalists are really good but I would buy Danyl’s record. I think he’s a good performer and has confidence- but most importantly I wish everyone would just focus on the performances rather than media stories -t hey are always exaggerated and don’t tell the full story. Both Danyl and Stacy deserve more than that, so I’m just going to keep voting for who gives performances that I like.
I don’t know what everybody sees in Danyl. He is not a good singer. He is, however, a great screamer. He is entirely unlikeable. As the Stacey story (and the Kandy Rain one before it) proves, he is cocky and disrespectful. I certainly hope he goes out of the competition as soon as possible. I don’t vote but I’m rooting for JE, Stacey, and Joe to be the final three.
Lloyd and Rachel should also leave soon.
In what way does it prove it? It’s all just rumours created by the media and it’ll most likely be false or completely exagerrated, whether the stories are true are not, tabloid stories do not prove anything. Did we not learn from Laura White last year? The press lie, it was said that she was dating an executive producer, that turned out to be a load of rubbish.
I think most of the contestants are very good this year but the winner will most likely be lucie shes the best sing AMAZING i think danyl,jamie,olly are the best performers and stacey,lucie,rachel are the best singers then theres the not so good lloyd,John and Edward. Joe has a swager to him.

I just think this is laughable. All that these tabloid stories actually prove is how the British public blindly follow every word these pointless rags publish. The majority of Tabloid readers in this country don’t have an opinion of their own, they just blindly accept and repeat whatever the editor tells them to. Heck, it’s practically a religion.
The day that the alleged “sources” of all these big stories actually go on record is the day I will start to believe that the “source” is anything more than the writers imagination, or some low-level teaboy that actually knows sod all.

OMG – How can what is suuposed to be such an intelligent country be so gullable. Believe it when Stacey say it herself in public. I am with you Jo! If you believe everything what you read in the papers, then you must be very gullible. Media hyped up made stories are there to sell papers. Danyl and Oly are the two best singers. I can’t believe Jedward are still there. What does that say about the British people…it really is sad! Thank god I’m Dutch!

Exactly, Peter. I have studied vocal music and also give lessons. I cannot figure out why Simon is so enthralled with Danyl. Whether he’s a bad guy or not has nothing to do with the fact that he can’t sustain a song on key. I thought the song where he was spitting all over the place was bad; however, his last performance was beyond bad. What is amusing is the number of people defending that he can sing — yet he has admitted it was horrible. Also, he always seems to have excuses for why he didn’t sing well — as does Simon. A lotta people are not liked in the music industry but they can still sing. Changing the key he was to sing in just before his performance was not the best move in the world. Was this Simon’s suggestion? Not being able to hear the music is plausible but no other contestant had that problem. The whole thing is baffling — but I can assure you, Danyl is not the best singer in the competition — even though Simon has issued an edict that he is.

I was just gazing across the comments here not intending to post one myself, but your comment is so ridiculous that I had to reply. Firstly, Simon Cowell is one of the biggest names in the music industry, I think he knows when someone is good… Secondly, Danyl is an unbelievable singer! He nvr screams cause he sings in a low tone so theoretically it would be impossible to scream… He can reach the high notes as well , which gives him a huge advantage on anyone else in the comp and is easily the best singer and should win… Simon and Danyl for the title! Plus I used to love Cheyrl but she has no idea what she is talking about and ive grown to dislike her, and Lloyd is total garbage.. sooo crap

The newspapers are terrible at slandering people. I am sure that stacy is stronger than this at Danyl allegedly quoting newspaper articles about her to her.
Being in the public eye is no laughing matter, you have to be strong or you will get crushed so Stacy love, harden up if you wish to remain in the show buisness because I have heard it is a bitchy life & there is a lot of backstabbing to get to the top & to stay there. Have you heard the expression “bad publicity is better than no publicity” unfortunatly in show buisness to get your name noticed for anything is good!! As long as your name is notticed! (get the drift?)
As for Danyl being cocky, you have to have attitude to be a star!! Would you say the same of Robbie Williams? No, of course you wouldn’t. Just let them perform, & may the best performer win! Thats all they are doing after all, is putting on a show!!!
