Yeah, I have to agree with Brian here – we get enough sports during the day, so putting more on during family entertainment time isn’t bright.

I’m also on Maureen’s side about the quality of the show this year – they may have shook things up with new presenters and a new judge, but the tactics are exactly the same as previous years – sub-par contestants with a couple of strong ones, sob stories on continuous loop and a whole lot of hot air in the press about the judges and nothing about the competition.

In short, I think calling this Britain’s Biggest Talent Show is misleading advertising, especially considering Leona’s career isn’t taking off. Unless X Factor launches some stars of decent calibre, it’ll soon be considered a waste of time.

Well really surprised with only 2 comments here,and from very different viewpoints. In Maureens points i must agree firstly that some of the best contestants are sitting at home,better singers,but not a commodity when selling air time.(How could they pick that arrogant ****!!!…you know who i’m talking about!!) However i disagree that the program is on the wane,just look at the viewing figures. ITV have shot themselves in the foot once again believing that this will raise there viewing figures against S.C.Dancing.Remember this is a national channel,not a regional one! Sam we are not all english,love rugby,or want this on a saturday night!

thats a stupid viewpoint, Strictly come dancing may not “have to go head to head with the X Factor” on saturday but it will have to go head to head with the rugby, which millions of people would choose over Strictly Come Dancing.good decision by ITV, some viewers will be lost to the BBC but many more will tune in for the rugby.

I am one of many not impressed at all with the level of contestants this year. The best contestants have gone home and no doubt some more of the good ones will be eliminated soon.

I am sad to say that interest in the programme must be on the wane . I think ITV have realised that this could be a problem year for the programme and that as a result they have decided to start removing it from a prime slot and replace it with other programmes in an attempt to lift the viewers statistics for the alternative programmes.
