X Factor news roundup – Monday 24th February…..
Soooo….Tamera Foster went among the missing during last night’s live X Factor show in Manchester.
The stunning singer appeared in the first half of the concert in Manchester’s Phones 4u Arena, performing her solo tunes and entertaining the crowd with her massive powerhouse voice.
She set the stage alight as she opened the concert with her version of Rihanna’s We Found Love and she later returned to perform an emotional rendition of Whitney Houston’s I Have Nothing.
However, after the interval, the teenager failed to join in on the group performances and finale. Her absence was not addressed during the gig but afterwards the brunette beauty took to Twitter and revealed that she had injured her ankle and was receiving medical treatment backstage.
It’s not yet been confirmed if Foster will be back on stage for the next live X Factor show.
Meanwhile, across the pond Simon Cowell has been making waves as he puts his massive, plush bachelor pad on the market.
Now that he’s a dad and will be living with girlfriend Lauren Silverman and his new son Eric, the star is seemingly keen to move to a family friendly home and has listed his Beverley Hills mansion for $17.9 Million.
The 12,000 square-foot property will no doubt be snapped up, as it boasts four bedrooms, six bathrooms, a separate guest house, a stunning swimming pool and sits on half an acre of grounds.
Lastly this morning, Sam Bailey has been revealing her excitement about finally taking to the same stage as Beyonce.
The mum of two, who won last year’s series of the X Factor, will open tonight’s Beyonce concert in Birmingham and she’s rather psyched about it all.
The former prison officer was at first told that she would be supporting the US star for the UK leg of her world tour, however after dates clashed with her own British tour, the support slot was scaled down to just one gig.
Chatting with the Daily Record this week Bailey confessed:
“To be sharing the stage with Beyoncé is just mind-blowing.”
“I feel a bit guilty because there are so many people who would love to be in my position. So I do feel really lucky with it as well. This is what I’ve always wanted – to perform on a massive stage and to be supporting someone like her.”
Since finishing on the ITV show Sam has been flashing the cash a bit and as well as treating her husband to a holiday in New York and later taking her children to Disneyland, she revealed that she also bought her man a brand-new BMW and splashed out on a BMW mini for herself.
Bailey will release her first album next month and last week she revealed her second single, Compass, to the world.
